Abstract

There are many unique problems in Gaṇita Kaumudī (Vol. 1 GK), and this paper analyses a few of them from the ‘Fractions’ chapter. These types of problems on fractions are not often found in other mathematical texts. It will be a worthwhile attempt if those problems are brought to light.
