Abstract

For a successful business in the present competitive world, there should be a continuous supply of raw materials and other capital requirements to carry out the business without any interruptions. The provision of necessary daily capital requirements makes it easy for the business entity to provide the products in demand in today’s marketable world. In some instances, it is not easy for the concern to meet all the required capital due to the non-availability of finance. Hence, it is of an utmost necessity today that the concern takes the necessary steps to finance the current assets through short-term finance. In the present study, an attempt is made to study the working capital position of Berger Paints India Ltd and how far the working capital has been properly utilized.
